ANDREW WEBSTER TO BE GIVEN HEROES FAREWELL BY TIGERS

"WE MAY NEVER WITNESS AN 0-2 RECORD AGAIN" SAYS WEBSTER.

“WE MAY NEVER WITNESS AN 0-2 RECORD AGAIN” SAYS WEBSTER.

Former Wests Tigers coach Andrew Webster will be honoured at the next Tigers home game for all of his wonderful contributions as head coach of the club.

A five gun salute will be carried out at Leichhardt to both commemorate the two games Webster enjoyed at the helm of the Tigers, and also to reflect on all of the coaches who have been shot in the back by the club’s board.

“We would like to thank Andrew for steering the Tigers through those two heavy losses,” Tigers CEO Andrew Pascoe said.

“I really feel that if Ivan didn’t come along and offer his services, Andrew may have turned things around and led the team through a period of slightly less heavy losses”.

Andrew Webster is unlikely to attend his own heroes farewell because the Tigers have already sacked him from the role.
