The St George Illawarra Dragons have released a tribute to one of its favourite sons today, unveiling a Josh Dugan snapshot series of his career so far with the club.
“Josh has contributed so many memories with us at the Dragons – most of which Josh himself can’t remember unfortunately because he was either concussed or drunk,” coach Paul McGregor told reporters today.
“We have compiled twelve of the most memorable Josh Dugan moments of him playing in the Big Red V – like that time he did his hammy, or that time he broke his jaw, or even that time he fell over and did his hammy and broke his jaw at the same time – so many golden memories.”
In addition to the polaroid action series, the Dragons also unveiled a statue of Dugan receiving an ice bath outside the Jubilee Oval main entrance to commemorate all of the time Dugan has spent with the club’s medical staff.
To celebrate the release of the series, the Dragons have announced they will be giving away one six pack of Bacardi Breezers with every collection sold.
