Injured Parramatta fullback, Clint Gutherson, has been selected as head physiotherapist to rehabilitate his own anterior cruciate ligament injury.
“Brad pulled me aside this morning and said we were down on troops in the medical team and would I mind filling in as Parramatta’s physio,” Gutherson explained.
“Naturally I said yes, I’m just really happy to work wherever the club puts me and do my best.”
Gutherson commenced work on his own injury a few hours ago and has already achieved some surprisingly successful results.
“Gutho has been a real surprise packet in the medical team,” club doctor Jim Killorn said.
“He took to the job seamlessly and has already cultivated a revolutionary new stem cell treatment that is currently being considered for publish in the New England Journal of Medicine.”
As a result of his hard work attending his own ACL injury, Gutherson is expected to be back on the field from next week.
